who dies with the most toys, WINS!"
SDG Motorsport began racing sidecars
in 1999.
Scott is a second-generation sidecar
racer. His father and mother are former
Bathurst winners in the 1960's. Allan
has been a wining representative for Australia
overseas. Scott's father, currently 68,
has been prominent in the sport for over
40 years.

The first "toy" of choice was
a post-classic sidecar. We bought this
bike as a chicken shed prop, and restored
it back to it's original glory. This bike
is a Payne frame, that podiumed at Bathurst
in 1970, 1971 & 1972. It is powered
by a Honda 750 Four engine, that has been
modified to 886cc, and runs on methanol.

In 2002, we purchased our next project.
A forgotter-era Baker frame, from England,
with a Kawasaki Z1100 engine, in need
of some serious TLC. This bike is due
to hit the track for the 2003 season.
Scott's father, Allan, has been itching
to get back in the saddle. So, for Father's
Day, we delivered! A genuine British-built
1960 sidecar, similar to what he used
to run himself back in the 50's and 60's.
Now that he has retired, we thought he
needed a little something to keep him
occupied. We expect to have this bike
ready and racing by the end of 2003.

Special thanks to Rob Lloyd
from RT Screenprinting. We welcome him
as our new passenger, and sponsor for
the 2003 season, and hope there is many
more to come!
